Sweet Potatoes are great vegetables that you can do so much with. You can eat them raw, they make a great snack. You can boil them and eat with tea, fry them up and make Sweet Potato Fries, bake them into pies, bread and even cake. You can add them to salads and even mash them up for a great dip. Being a vegetable, the swet potato should not be overcooked as it will loose its flavour and nutrients.

I'm on day 7 of my 7 Day infused water challenge. Today I will be having Cucumber Lime Ginger Water. Such an interesting combination that I am so excited to make it. Cucumbers are refreshing, Limes are bitter sweet and Ginger has this earthy taste. So many different tastes and flavors that will be infused in water to form a great healthy drink. Ginger is full of carbohydrates, which are excellent source of energy. Ginger, being quite tangy can support us in losing weight. This spicy herb is recognized to stimulate saliva and respectively speed up metabolism. Helps with nausea and motion sickness. Ginger has been proven by various studies to control the blood sugar levels in our system. Ginger can effectively treat migraine just as well as a medicine, yet without triggering any side effects. Ginger, being rich in antioxidants, the elements delaying our aging process, has anti-inflammatory characteristics which could potentially prevent damage to nerve cells. Have you noticed how much you sweat when you are stuck in bed with flu? It’s your body’s method of detoxification and getting rid of viruses. Ginger cures such  infections, when served with lemon in a cup of hot water (or herbal tea), will get you working up this sweat.Many studies have suggested that increasing consumption of plant foods like Limes decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease and overall mortality while promoting a healthy complexion and hair, increased energy and overall lower weight. Limes are great for asthma prevention. The risks for developing asthma are lower in people who consume a high amount of certain nutrients. How is your Friday coming along? Aren't you glad that it is the weekend soon? After a hectic week you just want to relax and blow some steam off. For me I like to just curl in, read a novel or read a recipe book. Yeah. I read recipe books. Not necessarily to find a recipe, just to read. For fun. Yes for fun. Am I the only one who does that? Lemmi know. So let's get into things food for today. As you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and as such you need to make it great. And there really are no rules about breakfast, and if there are, you can break a few, isn't life supposed to be unpredictable and spicy? Sometimes I'm not in the mood for a traditional breakfast so I decide what my mind, mostly my stomach tells me to eat.Potatoes are a great way to have breakfast, filling and healthy. You can bake this Breakfast fried potatoes or fry them like I did. Will definitely bake them next time, just to taste how different the textures and flavours will be. The best part of this dish is that you can have it for breakfast and if there will be any left overs, which I doubt, you can add to your lunch meals. So simple to make yet filled with all the goodness of a whole meal. Hope you enjoy making this dish!
